Tea equipment subtly designed to remember the complicated steps in the tea ceremony. each object has indentations, maps and landmarks integrated into their forms which relate to the way in which they should be used.

Waste Bowl

has a small bump on it which holds a bamboo dipper, keeping it from falling off while it is carried. A small ridge carved in the bottom back that indicates where it should be picked up and makes it easier to lift from a flat surface. Lacquered turned beach
